2nd Annual ECYD Mission Possible

The 2^nd Annual girls’ ECYD Mission Possible weekend took place at the beginning of May, hosted by ECYD and Everest's international program. Some of the highlights for the girls were seeing how residents live their life and seeing them smile as they sang for them during dinner at Lourdes Senior Community, meeting a group of people who do motorcycle ministry at the PB&J mission, and spending time and making crafts with the residents at Angels’ Place. The weekend concluded with Mass at Sweetest Heart of Mary where some participants did the pledge of friendship in ECYD.

Meanwhile, the boys held a camp out at Everest and enjoyed sports, adoration, camping, and outreach to serve the homeless and elderly in Detroit. The highlight of the ECYD weekend was the Eucharist procession and adoration we had. The kids felt how Jesus was really in their midst , ready to accompany them in the battle of their lives. It is worth it to be a follower of this Great King!

Seventy-five students attend the weekend's events which concluded with the annual Regnum Christi locality Marian pilgrimage.
