2nd Annual Gomez Games

There were fierce competitions of sand volleyball and kickball played at the second annual EC Gomez Games. In the spring of 2023, Everest Collegiate’s student government proposed replacing the annual EC 5K for a Cause with a new opportunity called the “Gomez Games”. For a few years, the students have wanted to bring back field day for high school students and also wanted to host a tournament similar to the B16 and JPII tournaments that run in partnership with ECYD. The games were named in honor of Everest cofounder, Fr. Lorenzo Gomez, LC. This year, after Mass, students headed to Clintonwood Park for activities.
