5th Grade Shadow Day

There are a lot of changes when transitioning from fifth grade to middle school. Not only do the uniforms changes, but there are also new opportunities and experiences. On Wednesday, March 10, fifth-grade students got to enjoy a spirit day and enjoy a special activities to start to prepare them for the transition to middle school.

Middle school opportunities include student council, electives, and the added responsibility of change classrooms and teachers for various subject. Eighth-grade students shared some of the experiences with the fifth graders. Mr. Haezebrouck also stopped by to answer some of their questions. The day ended with a special treat!

Students and parents will receive more information about middle school at the beginning of summer.
