7th Grade Creative Cells
October 18, 2019
The seventh-grade girls in Mrs. Cook’s life science class have been studying plant and animal cells. They have been learning the difference between the two cells and the functions of each organelle. To demonstrate their knowledge of the cells, the girls created 3-D cell models that included a key and were presented to the class. The girls were encouraged to be creative with the materials they chose to represent the cell and each organelle. Cells were constructed from materials such as cake, cookies, candy, clay, Styrofoam, and many other craft items. The girls did a great job on their cell projects!
