A Final Elementary Retreat

The fifth-grade girls and boys had their last elementary mother and child retreats. The girls had their retreat with their mom on Tuesday, and the boys’ retreat was Thursday. After Mass, the high school ECYD team leaders went back to the fifth-grade classrooms to share a reflection with the students and help them prepare a special surprise for their moms. Dean of discipline Mr. Cross was a guest speaker for the moms of boys, sharing some of his experience and knowledge from working with students for more than 30 years. The students all loved ending the retreat playing a game of hoop hop showdown. Next year, students will move on to day-long class retreats.
