A Final Trip

June 5, 2024

International students enjoyed one final trip before they return to their home. The program's trips not only provide students the opportunity to visit unique cultural locations. Just like family vacations, the students grow in friendships with the opportunity to step away from their routines and interact in new settings.

This final trip took the group to Washington D.C., where they visited all the major sites of the United States capitol. They saw the MLK memorial, FDR memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the White House!

This trip in particular was extra emotional because the students knew the year was coming to a close, and this trip is one of the last milestones. Many students even shed some tears knowing how close they are to finishing the year. Mateo Hernández said he really enjoyed the trip and it had a lot of sentimental value being the final trip.
