A New Experience for International Students

Late last week, international students arrived to Michigan to embark on a new journey. The weekend flew by with orientation activities, uniform fittings, a welcome Mass, and getting to know their new homes. This week, students are learning new routines and getting used to a new school. The students are looking forward to the holiday weekend ahead. The first weeks can be challenging in a new environment, but we know that students are going to have a great year.

Paloma Arozarena attended Everest in 2019-2020. She shared that one of the greatest challenges she overcame was: "the challenge of being somewhere new with new people. With time, I just knew that it was a great new experience for me and just by staying positive it wasn’t a challenge anymore."
