Activity Night for PS & JK

Preschool and junior kindergarten were excited to come back to school on a Friday evening to have an activity night with their dads. The night started off with a saints scavenger hunt in preparation for All Saints Day. Each child walked with his or her dad throughout the halls of the academy looking for the saints. When they found a saint, the dad read a short explanation of the saint, and together, they did an exercises. Then, they played a game together in the gym called “Don’t Wake Daddy.” The dads then went with Fr. Jason Smith, L.C., to the chapel for a talk while the children stayed with Miss Rose and prepared a surprise for their dad. Each student colored and decorated a tie for their dad to wear.
