Adoration and Posada

December 13, 2021

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a special day for Mountaineers, as they invoke Our Lady as a special intercessor. This year the feast coincided with the annual international program posada. Las Posadas is a traditional, devotional prayer in Mexico and other Latin American countries in which friends and family reenact Mary and Joseph seeking a place for Jesus to be born.

The posada provided a moment for Mountaineer families to come together and pray in the wake of recent events and looking forward to the hope of the coming of the Christ child this Christmas.
