All Saints' Day 2021

November 2, 2021

All Saints' Day is an important Everest tradition, bringing with it the annual parade and parties and games for academy classes. This year's celebrations were held on Friday, October 29, since All Saints' Day fell on the day declared off by the gala auction winner. This year All Saints' Day was not a Holy Day of Obligation so the day off could be granted. Students attended Friday Mass and Fr. Luis Felipe spoke about the secrets found in Our Lady of how to be a saint: prayer, protection from evil, and staying close to Jesus. Eighth graders led games for academy students in the afternoon.
