Annual Blessing of Baby Jesus

December 16, 2025

The annual blessing of the Baby Jesus Mass at Everest is a tradition that has stood at Everest since its early years. Everest lower school and middle school students are excited to bring their statues from their home nativity scenes to Mass to be blessed. The moment focuses on the birth of Jesus as the reason for the Advent season. This year's blessing fell on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Preschool students brought up the offerings in "tilmas" made in class in honor of St. Juan Diego and the miraculous image of Our Lady on his tilma.
