Author Visits First Grade

Author Debbie Nellis visited first grade for reading month! Ms. Nellis has authored three books about a turtle named Max and his adventures on Mackinac Island. She read Max Rocks: Island Adventures with Mackinac Max to the class. A special thanks to Mr. Leahy for organizing this opportunity for his son Max's class and for the copies of the book for each student!
