Celebrating Our Moms and Our Lady

The beginning of May brings a special celebration for Mountaineers: Mother's Day and the month of Our Lady. On the first Friday of May, Mountaineers have a special Mass to thank God for the gift of our mothers and also to crown Our Lady. Fr. Jason Brooks, LC, spoke about the gift of motherhood as a reflection of God. The high school students also celebrate the day with a May crowning, a special day led by the sophomores as they are recognized as they prepare to become upper classmen.
