Classroom "Pets"

May 6, 2019

The kindergarten class is excited to share an update on their science lesson.

On April 19, the day before Easter, all of the caterpillars made their chrysalis’ and were moved into their new home.

On April 28, the day before classes resumed, our first butterfly emerged.

On May 2, our final butterfly emerged. The kindergarteners now have five butterflies in our classroom. Once our weather is warmer, the class will let them go in the wild. For now, the butterflies are enjoying their diet of sugar and water, and the students are enjoying their classroom "pets" whom they have named.
