Congratulations, First Communicants!

"You know I want to tell you something, Jesus. I'm the happiest being with you." Second graders sing the song Jesus, My Friend, after communion at the Mass honoring the First Communicants each year. Second graders and their parents both celebrated this special sacramental year and also prayed in a special way for their moms this Mother's Day weekend. Following Mass, Ava Pruchnicki crowned Our Lady. The annual May crowning takes place at the beginning of May as we honor Our Lady in this Marian month.
