"Date Night" with Dad

Friday, December 14 was a special night for many of our kindergarten through second-grade girls and their dads. The Everest Parent Program put on its annual Father & Daughter Night which, as one dad put it, “was a fun time connecting with our daughters and Jesus through games, craft making, a spiritual talk, refreshments, and dancing.”

Meg Meeker states in her book Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters, “Dad, it’s not optional: your daughter needs you to be her hero.” Opportunities like this evening offered by the Everest Parent Program aim at fostering that crucial relationship for each of our students.
