Dean for a Day

Riley Jansenvanvuren got a taste of what it is like to be a dean of discipline at Everest Academy. The day was a prize won by Riley's parents at the annual gala last year. Riley spent the day with Mr. Cross learning all about what the job entails. She gave morning announcements, hung up bullying prevention posters, and even read to the younger students. It was a great day!

Riley shared her highlight of the day: “My favorite part of being dean for the day was being able to go to Culvers with three of my friends for lunch and giving my class a jeans day on my birthday that is coming up.”
