Early El Night with Dad

November 10, 2023

It was fun to have the dads of our preschool and junior kindergarten students at school for a Friday evening of fun and community. When they arrived, they started off with an alphabet saint scavenger hunt. When a letter of the alphabet was found, the dad would then read a brief explanation about the saint to their child. Then, they had an exercise they needed to complete that corresponded with the letter of the alphabet. The next activity was a game called “Don’t Wake Daddy”. After that, the dads went to the chapel and listened to a reflection given by Fr. Jason Brooks, L.C., while the students stayed with Miss Rose and the middle school volunteers to prepare a surprise to give their dad after the reflection to end the night.
