EC Disc Golf Club

Everest understand the importance of co-curricular opportunities to foster student talents and interests and complement the goals of Integral Formation. In the high school, students have the opportunity to sign up for clubs once a trimester. Club options range from academy ed, chess, outreach, music, and more.

This year, math teacher Mr. Stencel organized a disc golf club. In this club, students learn the form of throwing a disc both backhand and forehand, the different shot types, the rules of disc golf, and may even be able to help design Everest’s own future disc golf course. The warm weather this week was particularly conducive to this week's club day. Headmaster and high school principal, Mr. Reichert, joined the group for a round.
