EC Wrestling Club First Tournament

Everest Collegiate High School began offering a club wrestling team this winter. The club is being offered to 8-11^th grade young men in preparation for a varsity wrestling team in the 2024-2025 school year. The club gives our young men the opportunity to learn the basics of the sport of wrestling. Wrestling principles, rules, techniques, and moves will be introduced with intent to prepare our wrestlers for varsity competition in the 2024-2025 school year. Wrestlers will learn to spar, drill live, and to wrestle live matches. Expectations are that athletes are prepared to train hard and are eager to learn the art and culture of wrestling. The club team is coached by Coach Reichert. The team participated in their first competition at 12 Shores Tournament at Lakeview High School.
