Elementary Music Class Fun

This year brought a new music teacher for Everest's elementary students. Miss Watt shared some of the fun students had in their first weeks of class:

"This week in music class, we had a lot of fun activities going on! In fourth grade, we did stick figure movements. In the photos, we see Izzy Wheeler choosing which stick figures to show the class. Whatever position the stick figure is in, is the position that they have to hold for however many beats Izzy says.

Our second and third graders did a listening activity. They listened to the song, “Jesus Loves the Little Children” while drawing a picture of what they heard or how the song made them feel.

Our first graders sang “The B-I-B-L-E Song”. Several students held up letters to spell out the word “Bible” during the chorus, while the rest of the class sang the song."
