Elementary Prepares Gift for Christ

On Tuesday, December 17, kindergarten through 5 grade took time out of their busy schedules to go spend time with Our Lord. They reflected on how Christmas is Jesus’ birthday and how he gives us presents on his birthday. The only gift Jesus wants from us is our heart; He wants us to have space for Him and to welcome Him into our hearts. That is what Advent is all about getting our heart ready to welcome Jesus into our heart. They then wrote down on paper hearts how they wanted to get their heart ready and placed them in a gift bag for Jesus’s birthday present.
