Father Son Formation Afternoon for 7th Grade

Each year, the Everest formation team is pleased to provide a special gender-specific formation opportunity to specific grade levels in the academy. The All in God’s Plan event held on Friday, November 15, for seventh-grade boys and their dads helped them foster communication as fathers and sons but also explore important topics that affect young men today. Everest’s dean of discipline, Mr. Cross, addressed the dad about the challenges and temptations students can face as they strive to live their faith growing as they continue through middle school, high school, and college. EC alumnus, Rich Cross ’12, and Everest parents, Jason Pietras and Dr. Ariel Ponce, and friend of Everest, Jack Linto, also addressed the group. That afternoon finished with some time in the chapel and dialogue between the fathers and sons.
