Five Things I Love About Everest

January 31, 2026

That's a wrap on Catholic Schools Week. From the exciting competition of the EC winter games to lower elementary puzzle races, Pinewood Derby, middle school outings, lightning, free throw contests, and an all-school Mass, the week was a celebration of everything that makes Everest such a special place. Congratulation to the "Seniors on the Boardwalk" who found victory in the winter games. Thank you to all who made the week so special. One of our students summed it up so well in an assignment:

Five Things I Love About Everest

1. I love that Everest gives us the ability to have Adoration, Confession, Masses every Friday, and the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist.

2. I love that all of my classmates are so considerate and kind.

3. I love that every class nominates two students each month for demonstrating the virtue of the month.

4. I love that all of the teachers actually care about how much you are progressing through school, and they help you understand difficult concepts.

5. I love that Everest gives you the ability to play amazing and competitive sports with all of your friends.
