Freshman Boys Focus on Manhood

On Tuesday, October 1, the EC freshman boys had their annual class retreat at the Subiaco Retreat Center in Oxford. The theme of the retreat was Authentic Manhood. The boys had talks and small group discussions regarding the following topics: “Real men make sacrifices in life”, “Real men give of themselves out of love”, “Real men pray,” and “Real men respect women”.

The boys had time for personal prayer, confession, and Mass. There were also opportunities for games and bonding time as a class. The boys are excited for next year when they will have a chance to go on their first overnight retreat as a class.
