Freshmen Focus on Future

March 2, 2023

Freshman students participated in gender-specific class seminars on the theme: "WHO AM I? A fresh start to becoming in the best version of yourself."

Kristina Moran and Luke Walker came to speak to them about their high school experiences and how to stay true to oneself and your goals throughout your four years. They encouraged them to not take shortcuts when it comes to academics, to practice hard to achieve their athletic goals, and to continue to be work on friendships within their class and relationships with teachers, formation coaches, priests and consecrated, counselor, dean and principal to help them to become the best version of themselves.

Mrs. Krogh led the group through an activity about positive thinking and the effects on our brains. Mrs. Van Wagoner spoke to the group about leadership. Fr. Thomas Salazar, LC, led the students in a goal-setting workshop that included writing a letter to themselves as seniors.
