Freshman Girls Grow on Retreat

November 19, 2024

"I was glad for the time to spend with my classmates, and to get to know them a little more personally. I enjoyed watching the movie and understanding what it really means to be strong mentally and physically. The best part of the retreat was adoration. I love adoration at any time of any day because I get to be with my best friend who never lets me down. It allows me to spend more time with Him and build a more secure relationship with Him. It also gives me time to just be quiet and think about what matters in life. Having confession with Fr. Thomas helped me to repent and start with a clean, fresh slate. Combining fun and, spiritual events really helped me to grow in God, as a better friend, and to see myself the way God does." -Carrie Walker, Class of 2028
