International Students Hit the Slopes

December 12, 2025

Snow arrived early this winter, and international students are enjoying every minute of a favorite activity! Each year, international students spend hours and days skiing and snowboarding. It is a favorite memory they will carry with them from their time at Everest. Early in the season, students have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of skiing and snowboarding. For many, it was their very first time stepping into skis or strapping onto a snowboard, making the day both a challenge and a thrill.

One highlight of the outing was hearing from international student Marcelo Zubia, who shared his excitement about the experience: “I’m loving Pine Knob so far, and I can’t wait to continue to practice here,” Marcelo said with a big smile after finishing a run. It was the perfect start to what promises to be a memorable winter for the Everest's international students.
