Journey to Bethlehem

The 2019 Everest Academy Christmas Program depicted Mary (Kathleen Thibodeau) and Joseph's (Eduardo Cantu) journey to Bethlehem. All elementary students participated in the choir. Middle school and high school bands and choirs also performed. This year's performance was the debut for Everest's new band teacher, Mr. Steven Taylor, who led the bands in an exceptional performance.

Talents of many students were exhibited including this fall's middle school forensics winners who had speaking roles in the cast. Middle school drama participants Jack Villella and Ethan Brodbeck ran the lights and sound for the program.

Choir teacher Mrs. Kathie Nalepa led the choirs in song as the story of Mary and Joseph's journey unfolded. Elementary students journey the Holy Family in the stable as a star, animals, shepherds, and the three kings.
