K-2 Night Focuses on Relationship

April 1, 2026

Leading up to the K-2 Father & Son Night, the number one comment Miss Rose heard all week was “I can’t wait for Friday night.” Miss Rose explained that the main activity was for each boy to go through an obstacle course, but the added challenge was he was to be blindfolded and had to practice listening to his dad and following his instructions. She further explained that if they want to grow up to be like their dads, who are men of honor and respect, then they need to learn how to listen to them and follow their instructions. Because God gave them their dad to be their coaches in life, they guide them and teach them how to become men of honor and respect. After completing the obstacle course, the dads had a reflection given by Fr. Thomas while the students stayed with Miss Rose and three middle school boys who helped make a surprise for the dads. A big thank you to Braden, Dominik, and Leo for volunteering, this night would not have happened without their help.
