Mountaineer Women Begin Lenten Journey

In what has become a many year's tradition, Mountaineer women gathered for an evening of prayer and fellowship on the eve of Ash Wednesday. The annual Mardi Gras for Women event featured speaker Jennifer Ristine, a Consecrated Woman of Regnum Christi. Jennifer led the group in reflection sharing her own experience of St. Mary Magdalene. From 2014 to 2018, Jennifer served in Magdala, Israel. She is the author of Mary Magdalene: Insights from Ancient Magdala. The evening was a perfect launch to the Lenten liturgical season.
