Mountaineers Welcome Coach Strach

November 9, 2022

Everest Collegiate High School is pleased to announce that Coach Thomas Strach will be coaching the Mountaineers varsity boys soccer team beginning in the fall of 2023.

Coach Strach is a familiar face at Everest. He has been the girls’ varsity assistant coach for the past five seasons. Prior to coaching at Everest, he coached club soccer for the Livonia Meteors. He also helped lead Livonia St. Michael's boys to the 2011 CYO championship as their assistant coach. Coach Strach attended Northern Michigan University and was a member of the soccer team for four seasons. He played center midfield for the Wildcats and, in his senior year, he was also the kicker on the NMU football team. Coach Strach is married to EC alumni parents and former competitive cheer coach Nancy Strach. Nancy is the mother of EC alumni Blake, Hannah, Grant, and Molly.

Everest thanks Coach John Haezebrouck for his twelve years of dedication to building Everest's boys soccer program to its current level of prestige and success.
