MS Celebrates Pi Day

March 22, 2026

Pi-Day is celebrated on March 14. This year, the day fell on a Saturday, so the middle school celebrated on Friday, March 13. Eighth grade measured their pies and did some calculations for the circumference and area. Seventh grade worked on a visual representation of pi in the form of a quilt square. Sixth grade read Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi - a Math Adventure by Cindy Neuschwander. Of course, all middle school celebrated by eating pie. Happy Pi-Day!
