New Practice Fields for First Week of Athletics

The first week of fall sports brought hard work from athletes and new practice fields for the Mountaineer community. Through the support of generous donors, the St. Paul and St. Agnes fields were completed for athlete use. The fields will serve football and soccer practices as well as the Mountaineer League. Fall varsity athletes gathered on Friday for a traditional beginning of season Mass. Celebrated by Fr. Thomas Salazar, LC, the Mass focused on the generous example of self-giving of St. Maximilian Kolbe on the saint's feast day. Best of luck this season, Mountaineers!
