New Year, New Retreats

It was such a gift to have our Preschool 3/4 parents on campus for the mother and child retreat on September 11. The morning began with Mass in the high school chapel, where Fr. Thomas explain what he wears for Mass and some of the various parts of the Mass. After Mass, we gathered in the academy commons for a craft to help the preschoolers to continue to understand the virtue of the month: Charity. After the craft each mom and child did the freeze dance. The students went back to their classrooms, and the moms met for a reflection led by Miss Rose, followed by some fellowship time, allowing them to get to know each other better. The Preschool 3/4 retreat is the first of the year and a first for many of our young families. These mornings are an important way for our moms to get to know one another and spend quality time with their children.
