NJHS Prepares Birthday Bags

Ortonville Community Emergency Fund (OCEF) Food Pantry provides food, paper products, and toiletries to 200-250 families in need each month. When a child is celebrating his or her birthday, OCEF Food Pantry provides a birthday kit to help the child celebrate. Kits include cake mix, frosting, candles, streamers, and small gifts and toys. Everest's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society organized an apostolic service project with the middle schools to put together birthday kits for students in need.
