Praying for the Faithful Departed

November 26, 2019

The Catholic Church honors the faithful departed in early November on All Souls' Day. Throughout the month Everest students, faculty, and staff are praying for those who have died.

On the occasion of All Souls' Day, the EC cultivating Christian culture club set up a candle station in memory of the souls of the departed. Students, staff, parents, and visitors have been invited to write a name of a lost loved one on a candle to put up. The community has prayed for these intentions throughout the month.

Similar initiatives have taken place in the academy including the candles displayed in the second-grade classroom window.
