Preparing Our Hearts

December 4, 2020

Everest students are preparing their hearts for Jesus's birth. On Tuesday, November 24, the middle school student council stayed after school to help put up the Nativity in the academy commons.

Everest families who were unable to participate the Family Advent Wreath Event due to restrictions on gathering constructed their wreath kits together at home and had a moment to pray as a family.

On Monday of the first week of Advent, students prayed together (while distanced) and had the lighting of the first candle on the school's Advent wreath.

EC students have joined in prayer with reflection from student government recording prior to going to distance learning. See our social media pages for all reflections.

Academy and high school faculty and staff participated in the annual Advent door decorating competition. Results will be posted next week.
