Preparing Thanksgiving Dinner

November 26, 2019

On Wednesday, November 20, Everest Academy dean of discipline Mr. Cross and the girls from student government took time out of their busy day to help the Ladies of Charity prepare Thanksgiving dinners for those in need. The Ladies of Charity is an organization associated with St. Hugo’s in Bloomfield Hills that collects food and clothing to help those in need. This year, the girls unpacked over 3,800 food items to create an assemble line so they could pack over 265 bags to feed 113 families for their Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great way for the girls to give back to God in thanksgiving for the many blessings God has bestowed on them.
