Preschool Learns about Fire Safety

Everest's preschoolers learned all about fire safety from the six representatives of Independence Township Fire Department who came out to visit. The students learned about smoke detectors, family meeting spots, and "stop, drop, and roll." They also were able to check out the fire truck, learn about the stretcher, and see and hear a fire fighter in full gear. Finally, they each got the chance to climb through the fire truck.
