PS Sledding & Why We Love Catholic Schools

January 31, 2024

Each day of Catholic Schools Week is jam packed with activities. Today, preschoolers were out enjoying the fresh snow. Our students also reflect on why they love their Catholic schools this week. Here is what fifth grader, Claire Coffey, had to say:

"I love Catholic schools for many reasons. The first reason why I like Everest Academy is every Friday we have Mass. Another reason is the classes are smaller and the teachers can help you more. Also, the people are nice and help you when you need help. Last, we learn a lot of things in one year.

Another reasons why I like Everest Academy is we get to celebrate the feast days when the school year is going on. Also, when you wear school uniform, you don't have to pick out clothes in the morning before school. I like Everest Academy because all the people are thankful for what they have. Also, we pray together at the end of each class.

Finally, the reasons why I like Everest Academy are: one, you will have a lot of friends, also you get to learn about God; second, you can get blessed by the priests; third you can do confession if you can. Those are some of the reasons why I like Everest Academy."
