Related to Da Vinci?

For this week's throwback Thursday, we have one final AP biology experiment that students completed before exiting the lab for what they didn't realize was the last time this year.

AP biology students compared four different samples of DNA using gel electrophoresis to determine if any person is closely related to Leonardo Da Vinci. Students will compare the resulting DNA fingerprints to see if any match closely enough to the sample taken from the remains of the famous artist/scientist to be considered his relative. Results are still pending.
