Starting the Morning Right

Read nearly any blog or self-help book about starting your morning right and you will find advice about taking a moment for reflection. Even before school begins, Everest Academy students who are dropped off early because their high school siblings have started their days doing just that. Students head to the chapel with middle school teacher Mr. Mitchell to begin their day in prayer. To make the visit, students tear themselves away from all sorts of games. In an era of video games and devices, the mornings at Everest are full of chess and playing card. It is a lot of good, old-fashioned fun!
