Stations of the Cross & Fish Fry

April 13, 2022

Friday, April 8, was a special evening as Mountaineer families and members of the local community came together for a Lenten evening. Girls who participate in ECYD wrote and prepared prayers for the family Stations of Cross, reenacting Jesus's carrying of the cross and death. On display in the gym was a replica of the Holy Shroud of Turin, believed to be the burial cloth of Jesus. Students had the opportunity to learn more about the Shroud during the school day. Eighth-grade students had prepared posters with information they learned.

Following the time of prayer and reflection, families enjoyed a Lenten fish fry hosted by EC marine biology class and Everest dads who helped serve and clean up. We wish all our Mountaineer families a blessed Holy Week!
