Student Government Lives Advent Giving

"We had a great day putting together toy and toiletry packages with Ladies of Charity and shopping for the remaining items for our adopted families through Lighthouse of Clarkston. We did have many students contribute gifts this year, which was great. Madelyn Krappmann organized the sophomores to purchase a bike together for an 8 year old girl for one of the families. Student government finished the day with a chapel visit for a recap and to pray for all of the people we served. I mentioned that the red bags were toys for a jail ministry that provides gifts for children whose parents are incarcerated. The students definitely thought about all of the things we take for granted and ended the day with grateful hearts." -Mrs. Van Wagoner, Dean of Discipline
