Students Celebrate Opening Masses

September 11, 2020

Each Friday at Everest is a special day as students attend Mass. This year many accommodations had to be made to space students out in the gym. Younger students in grades preschool through second grade will have their own Mass this year in the academy gym seated spaced out by classes according to their classroom seating charts allowing for contact tracing if it would be necessary. Fr. Thomas took the opportunity to help younger students learn more about Mass, reminding them that Jesus is always watching over them and with them. "We have to stay spaced out so that Jesus and our guardian angels have a place to sit." Fr. Brian celebrated Mass for the high school students.

Today students and faculty joined together thanking God for a great beginning to the school year and praying for our country in a special was on September 11.
