Students Eager to Return to Activities

June 17, 2020

With summer camp and children's activities canceled for the past several months, it was evident parents and students were eager to start participating in activities again when over 50 students signed up for Everest Collegiate High School & Academy's summer speed training in cooperation with LL Speed.

The camp is open to students in 4th-8th grade students from the community and runs for a couple hours on Wednesday mornings until the end of July. It is great to see so many students back together again and participating in activities. Students participated in drills to build speed focusing on footwork, proper form, and power. If the students' smiles say anything, they are happy to be back in organized activities too.

Many thanks to Everest’s coaches and academy athletic director, Michael Pruchnicki, for creativity and quick work to provide students with options for summer activities!
