Welcome Back, Everest Teachers!

Summer is never quite long enough, but when you work at a place that feels like home, back-to-school isn't so bad. Everest teachers returned to work on Monday, August 12. After a day working in their classrooms, on Tuesday they began meetings to plan and focus the year. As always, each morning of meetings begins with Mass, a time of prayer together with the faculty and staff.

After breakfast generously provided by Neiman's Family Market, the faculty and staff heard from headmaster and high school principal about the focus for the year and the importance of focusing on our mission. He also rolled out the yearly goals for Integral Formation, the pedagogical approach Everest implements which focuses on the complete development of the human person. Fr. Brian Hoelzen, LC, Michael Pruchnicki, and Maria Mellis introduced the formation coaching model which will be rolled out this year as part of the team approach to add each student in achieving his or her formation goals.

Meetings continue throughout the week for faculty and staff as they prepare to receive students back next week.
