Athletic Culture Beyond Competition

November 4, 2026

Athletics at Everest are about a culture that is much more than what takes place on the field or court. Athletic programming is guided by experienced coaches who instill Christ-centered values, pursuit of excellence, teamwork, and cooperation. Athletes are taught respect for coaches, officials, and peers. They show up for practices and games. They give full effort. They also show up for team dinners, team Masses, and fun activities. These traditions are built into the fabric of each programming individually and into the athletic program as a whole. Whether it be a mother and son football brunch, a team Mass before the district and semifinal game, a run to Cooks Farm Dairy, or praying with the opposing team after a big game, athletes walk away from a season with much more than a tally of wins and losses, they have friendships, virtue, and lasting memories. #AllforHim
