What My Mountaineer Family Means to Me

What my mountaineer family means to me is some of these people I have grown up with and I care so much about them. I love how we are all a family and we all get to grow together in many ways. Some of my friends and I have experienced so many things together and we have gotten so close over the years and I can't wait to experience many other things with them. - Ava Grant

What my mountaineer family means to me is loyalty, friendship, and honor. People that go to Everest all share something in common. We all love each other and want to be better versions of ourselves. Is kind, loving, faithful, smart, you name it. People here have true faith about Catholicism unlike people at my old school. It is a family of intelligence, perseverance, and most of all, faith. My mountaineer family is a loving family and they mean so much to me. They help me get to my classes, show me what to do, tour me, and support me. My Everest family means a lot to me. The teachers, my classmates, and the coaches, but the religion class is the best. I just get this feeling when I’m with them, it's almost like all of us are brothers. Gym is another class, if one of us is having a rough time, we pick each other up and I think that's what is special about my Everest family. -Max Ponce
